The Summit of Greatness in Columbus, OH
When you are in a theatre sitting in a room full of 500 entrepreneurs and “change makers” You know that some real sh*t is going down. The Summit was the brainchild of Lewis Howes, NYT best-selling author, entrepreneur, and podcaster of The School of Greatness. Lewis and his team, his family and friends all of whom were there really created something to be experienced by anyone looking to create #greatness in their lives.
I have been listening to Lewis podcast since 2014 when he was a guest on my dear friend Michael Knouse podcast The Start Up Sessions. I was totally hooked and purchased his book when it came out and quickly recommended it to all of my friends. Being in the Health + Wellness industry, particularly in the Yoga world… there isn’t much exposure to the world of the entrepreneur. Coming from a business background, working for savvy business people in my past life, I’ve always wondered why we don’t put as much focus in our own development as entrepeneurs.
The conference featured incredible speakers Matthew Hussey, Kyle Maynard, Stacy London, Ryan Blair and world class music by Lewis’s Brother Christian Howes, incredible dancers and choreography Antoine Troupe … and ended with an EPIC dance party by DJ Irie where I preceded to dance my little face off, after being sore from the morning workout sessions. (p.s. Jen, I’m still sore…) I was able to connect with some really incredible people during this trip!
I am so beyond grateful to have had the opportunity to meet with so many loving, kind, beautiful, and present human beings. I was also able to connect with a few of my students who happened to be there, and two of my mentors who are continuing to keep me accountable for what I’m creating in my life.
I have been to many speaking events, and conferences. Events by BIG “NAME” people that have massive empires that didn’t deliver, there is always an element missing. This one will forever be in my memory. The content was excellent, the speakers were unbelievably inspiring and the friendships that I made will be part of my life for a long time. Rarely do you ever go to an event where the speakers are treated the way they should be. Lewis went out of his way to express his gratitude and show his appreciation for the speakers as well as all of the attendees.
The ‘Summit of Greatness’ from start to finish really was something extra-ordinary. There will be more, and they will continue to grow and grow but there will never be one like the one we all experienced this last weekend. That one, was a once in a lifetime…

The Biggest Takeaway: “If You Have a Plan B, Plan A won’t work”…. By Fabio Viviani
This was truly a phenomenal event and an absolutely amazing group of beautiful and sexy people participating J. I learned so much, met so many great people, and felt it was such a great experience. It was an unexpected and very pleasant surprise, and I strongly recommend going to Columbus, Ohio next year
The Summit of Greatness really made a huge impact and created some much needed inspiration. There was so much to takeaway, mostly what I loved was the energy of the people. Not only the attendees, but the people of Ohio. I’ve had the opportunity to visit before, and I am always so taken back by the immense feeling of love that the mid-west seems to emanate. This conference would have felt different had it been hosted by a major city. I love being able to travel to smaller towns where you can feel the tenderness and care of its people. Columbus, Ohio you did me well… If you are interested in purchasing tickets for next year you can get the Early Bird pricing but there’s only a few spots left!
You may get a major case of F.O.M.O. if you don’t.. I will be there 😉
Once you get your tickets message me on Twitter @rosieacosta or on Instagram @rosieacosta and I will send you a special meditation to incorporate into your daily rituals to get you on your path to getting Radically Loved!
Big Hugs To ALL! Love, Rosie
